Zach and Marit’s wedding was an absolute blast.
The day started with full hair and makeup makeovers along with some yummy breakfast, and of course, mimosas at The Metropolitan! Zach and the groomsmen spent the morning hanging out and taking a crash YouTube course on folding pocket squares. Having a mid afternoon ceremony allowed the couple stress-free time to prepare themselves for the big “I do”.
Zach and Marit kept tradition and didn’t see each other before the ceremony. I’m not sure who shed more tears as Marit walked down the aisle – Zach or her Dad!
One memory stands out above the rest. A bride’s nightmare: the limo broke down in the middle of downtown La Crosse! But, what might have been a tragedy, turned out to be a fun adventure. A biker gang helped push the limo out of the intersection, and we decided to walk the 2 blocks to the venue, The Court Above Main. It was an absolute blast to show off the bridal party on the sidewalks of La Crosse, and we laughed so hard!
The rest of the night was one big party! After dinner and speeches, we ate cake and even had The Pearl bring an ice cream stand inside the reception hall. Full of sugar, everyone had energy to dance the night away.
