I had never met a true cowboy or cowgirl until I met Jada and Caleb. This couple met over their love of horses and they kept the western theme throughout their engagement photos and their wedding day.
After hair and makeup at the fantastic Orange Pearl Salon, the wedding party met up at the the couple’s beautiful country home in rural Minnesota. Jada and Caleb had definitely done their homework and presented me with some gorgeous spots to take photos. The couple exchanged love notes and first looks at a rustic red barn, put their wedding party up on hay bails, and even took photos at an old rustic bridge deep in the country.
The rest of the day was nothing short of extraordinary. The church service was full of incredible music and lots of love for these two. The wedding party took a tour around Caledonia on a hay ride, and the couple made their grand entrance to the reception hall in a custom carriage built by Caleb.
Dinner was served, speeches said, and the dances began.  The most touching moment of the evening was the father daughter dance. Jada didn’t have the opportunity to dance with her father who recently passed away, but many other men stepped up to make sure she wasn’t dancing alone. After the tears were wiped away from their faces, the party started and the guests danced long into the night.
Jada and Caleb, I am SO happy that I met you both. I have never worked with a couple so involved and detail oriented. You were a pleasure to photograph, and I cannot wait to see how your lives unfold. I am wishing you all the happiness in the world!
