I was so excited to meet Megan and Carson in person. We had talked via video chat and over the phone, but never in person. I am so glad we had their summer engagement session to get to know each other! We had such a fun exploring the park and downtown La Crosse getting some super cute images for them to display at their new home! Carson and Megan are really easy to be around. They tease each other and giggle a lot, two things I love for photos!

June is my favorite month for lot of reasons, but especially because of the long golden hours. The setting sun hit Megan’s hair so perfectly in some of the images, she is glowing. 🙂 I always plan sessions to make sure we have the absolute best light. Megan & Carson live in the Twin Cities but were totally willing to work around the sun’s schedule for awesome photos…even if this meant driving home in the dark on a Sunday night!

I was so thankful that they were willing to trust me to guide them into the best spots and poses. Even if it meant traveling a little off the beaten path to long grasses or cool brick buildings. The results were totally worth it!

When we met for their private reveal session, Megan & Carson loved SO many of the images. It was hard for them to choose. (Whoops!) Luckily, I was there to guide help them make the best decisions for what they needed. They selected a custom guestbook. They also picked printed images so that they can decorate their living and bedroom walls. Yay!!

Megan & Carson, thank you so much for being so lovely and sharing the evening with me! I am super happy with your engagement photos, and I know you are too, which makes me even happier. I cannot wait for your wedding this fall at Maple Grove Venues!
