GRANDAD BLUFF ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN
THE LOCATION
Morgan and Vince’s autumn engagement session took place at Grandad Bluff in La Crosse, WI. They love nature and mentioned doing pictures in an open field or the woods. I chose Grandad Bluff as the perfect spot! Yes, the bluff is known for its great lookout area, but that’s not all there is. There are trails, woods, and lots of other open areas all within walking distance. I picked some spots that matched the vibe and the look the couple wanted. The session took place at sunset. The low sun in the sky shone on the couple and provided a gorgeous glow. Take a look below!
WHO THEY ARE
It’s so easy to be around Morgand Vince. They are simple go with the flow types. I was able to guide them through posing and walk them from spot to spot with total ease. They are goofy and snuggly with one another. Morgan wanted to make sure their true personalities were captured. I absolutely did that! We had fun spending time together and getting to know each other better. It was really special watching them interact and show so much joy!
WHAT THEY WORE
The engagement session was in late fall so they wore cozy and casual outfits. Morgan chose a soft beige turtleneck sweater with dark jeans and suede booties. Vince picked a flannel to add a unique color to the mix. The warm red created a pop against the neutral backdrops. He paired his shirt with dark jeans and leather dress shoes. Although it was just a little chilly, long sleeves and pants kept them nice and toasty warm!
Morgan decided to take my advice and have her makeup professionally done. Makeup by Sarah Koblitz worked her magic as always! Morgan’s brown eyes were highlighted with warm gold. I especially loved the color she chose for her lips! She felt confident and beautiful, and it shows in the photos! 
FINAL THOUGHTS
Morgan and Vince, thank you so much for spending the evening with me! It was such a great experience hanging out and laughing with you! I’m so glad that you had fun as well! I cannot wait for your wedding next year at Celebrations. It’s going to be a total joy photographing you as Mr. & Mrs. Kube!! Lots of love to you both. 🙂
