THE GREENHOUSE AT BITTERSWEET WEDDING
We met Jade and Tristan at the Wedding World Bridal Expo in 2019, and we knew we were a match right away! They commissioned us to photograph their Hawaiian destination wedding the next year. Because they eloped, the couple planned a separate reception to celebrate with friends and family. The pandemic caused a bit of a hiccup, but the date was finally set for 2021.
This day was worth waiting for! It was a warm summer day, a big rainstorm passed through earlier leaving everything outside looking fresh and vibrant. The Greenhouse at Bittersweet was decorated beautifully with a Hawaiian theme. The colorful tropical flowers popped against the greens lining the long tables and complemented the photos from their Hawaiian wedding day.
It was 676 days between their private wedding ceremony and their reception, and it was obvious that the love between these two had grown so much stronger in that time. Tristan looked at Jade with the most loving eyes and it was easy to see why. Jade looked stunning in her off-the-shoulder flowy dress and flower crown, especially when she held her unique tropical bouquet.
As they got ready to dance together to start off the party, the sun began peeking through, filling The Greenhouse at Bittersweet with gorgeous natural light. As her dad looked on with pride, the beautiful bride and her groom finally had their first dance.
This unique and romantic wedding was a night they will remember forever. We were so happy to be there to capture it!
