BRANDING AND MARKETING PHOTOS FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
When Sarah Murphy, owner of Social Cues, reached out for branding photos, I knew this session needed to reflect her warm, professional, and approachable personality. Sarah is a social media manager and marketing guru, known for her bubbly, personable, and insightful approach to helping businesses grow online. Since I had photographed her wedding last June, I already knew how incredible she was in front of the camera. But this time, the focus was entirely on her brand.
From the start, I guided Sarah through every step of the process. We discussed her brand’s personality and the message she wanted her photos to convey. I helped her select outfits that balanced comfort with professionalism, ensuring she felt confident and true to herself. During the session, I coached her through natural yet flattering poses, making sure her expressions and body language communicated exactly what she wanted—friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. My goal was to capture the essence of who Sarah is and what she brings to her clients.
We shot in a relaxed setting, allowing for a mix of casual and polished images that she can use across her website, social media, and marketing materials. I made sure to keep the experience stress-free, offering encouragement and direction so she never had to worry about what to do next. The result? A collection of images that showcase her authenticity, warmth, and expertise—everything you’d want in a marketing strategist.
Branding photography is more than just headshots—it’s about creating a visual identity that helps you connect with your audience. Whether you’re a business owner like Sarah or an entrepreneur looking to elevate your brand, I’d love to help you create images that work for you.
