There’s nothing quite like a first birthday party. Theodore’s big day was full of joy, laughter, and a whole lot of little feet running around! Hosted at a private estate near La Crosse, Wisconsin, this celebration was full of thoughtful details and heartwarming moments that made it one to remember.
The theme was “Let’s Fly Away,” and every detail tied in beautifully. Northern Urbanity Events designed and styled the party with vintage luggage, soft pastel tones, and aviation-themed touches. Meringue Bakery created a custom cake that was almost too beautiful to eat (almost). A MOKA coffee cart kept the adults caffeinated and smiling, while the little ones were treated to a breakfast spread of pancakes, fruit, and quiche.
Each child received their own goodie bag from “baggage claim”—a sweet and clever nod to the party’s travel theme. Theodore looked absolutely adorable in his custom fighter pilot outfit, complete with aviator goggles and his name embroidered on his jacket.
The event was joyful and relaxed, with young families mingling and kids playing freely across the estate’s open space. As the event photographer, I was there to document it all—from the warm welcomes to the giggles, the décor, and the special little moments in between. Every digital image was included in their event coverage, making it easy for the family to relive this special day again and again.
It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful milestone. Happy First Birthday, Theodore—you’re cleared for takeoff into a lifetime of adventure!
