Steve and Holly arranged their engagement session with Ben and me for a late spring afternoon. They were so excited to show us one of their favorite spots. It was really important to them to have some images taken there. Ben and I are always up for an adventure, so of course we were excited! We absolutely love traveling to places that are special to our couples.

The four of us began on a hike through the trails of Grandad Bluff. As we walked we chatted, and I learned all about Steve and Holly’s long term friendship that eventually turned into romance! It was a long road to this point in their relationship, but they expressed how ecstatic they are to be with one another. I also learned why we were on this hike. The spot they were taking us to was the location of their first date! I photographed some gorgeous portraits of them in nature and we headed downtown for their second outfit (and some ice cream post-session). I really like the variety of settings in their gallery!

These two are huge art and photography fanatics. A few weeks after their session they met with me to select what they wanted to display. Holly fell instantly in love with the custom canvases I offer. Now, when you visit their home you will see two 16×20 pieces of artwork hanging in their home. They will always have these to look on to remember their engagement and all the happiness they felt!

Steve and Holly’s wedding is just a few weeks away at B’s Place in West Salem, WI. I cannot wait to see them and (Holly’s amazing Tiffany ring) again. I know their wedding and marriage is going to be full of so much love and laughter…just look at these two together!! They are constantly smiling and sneaking glances at one another, such a perfect fit for each other.
