When Ben and I arrived and first saw Natasha on the day she married Jeremy, she was absolutely glowing. The love and excitement were as thick as the humid June air. The music was playing in the room and the bridesmaids were dancing, and we just knew this was going to be an incredible day.
We brought her wedding dress outside, and I was immediately drawn to the homemade birchwood arch that fit in perfectly with the rustic decor at Stoney Creek. We absolutely loved her bouquet from Cindy’s Wedding Designs with white flowers contrasting with the green leaves giving it the perfect feel for a summer wedding.
Taking the photos of her dress from David’s Bridal, I knew that Jeremy was going to be surprised, but I wasn’t prepared for how perfect it would look when she put it on. When it came time for the first look, the normally cool and collected Jeremy just couldn’t hide his surprise and awe at the beauty of his soon-to-be wife.
Natasha couldn’t wait for her dad to see the completed look, so before we started taking the family pictures she did one more first look, this time with him. She and her sisters told us that he wasn’t normally the emotional type but seeing his little girl for the first time brought him to tears. It was a special moment that he’ll remember forever.
Then it came time for the ceremony. The green trees stretching across the La Crosse river valley were an amazing setting for them to exchange their vows and promise to love each other forever.
Because they did so many of their photos before their ceremony, they were able to mingle with their friends and family at cocktail hour. After a lot of laughter and a few tears during the speeches we were able to sneak Natasha and Jeremy outside one more time for some golden hour photos, my absolute favorite! With the ceremony behind them and their lives together in front of them, this session was laid back and provided some amazing images that will show the love they have for eachother for generations to come in their heirloom wedding album.
They loved so many of their photos that they chose the biggest album that I offer, a 12×12 with 250 images. My favorite part is that they selected a photo for the front cover so it can double as a piece of artwork. They put it on display to show off to anyone who visits. The slate grey leather cover they picked matches the wedding colors and is a timeless addition to their home!
Natasha and Jeremy, I am so beyond thankful to know you! Thank you for being so kind, considerate, and fun to be around! Your wedding was absolutely perfect. You deserved every bit of the love you received from your friends and family!!
