As Chrissy stepped up to my booth at The Wedding Expo I knew we were going to be a great fit! She was smiling from ear to ear and had a super approachable attitude and kind eyes that drew me in. She was there with her fiance Christian and their adorable son. We talked for a few moments, and it was confirmed. We were going to be friends. 🙂 They booked with me and we quickly planned their La Crosse, WI engagement session for January.

The winter is perfect for lots of trees and gorgeous soft white snow. It was a little chilly, but no big deal for these two. They snuggled together and stayed super warm! I loved how willing they were to try different poses and even to tread through the snow on the bluffside! We even returned to the exact spot where they shared their first kiss on a warm summer night. It was really special that they shared that story and location with me! The session wouldn’t be complete without some family photos. Rylan brought the brightest giggles and smiles to some quick shots with Mom & Christian.

When we met for their private reveal session, Chrissy LOVED the guestbook option! She picked out her favorite photos to be displayed together with their friends’ and family’s kind messages. They also picked digital files so that they would have the flexibility to print their save-the-dates and send photos to family members. Lastly, Chrissy made sure to have her favorite photo printed to display at work. She was super pumped about that!

Meeting people like Chrissy, Christian, and Rylan is what makes me love photography so very much. They are so giggly and loving to one another – my favorite kinds of moments for photos! Thank you guys so much for such a fun afternoon. I cannot wait for your wedding this fall at The Cargill Room!
