Wedding Connections
Kaylee and Jordan’s wedding day was in mid-winter with fresh snow on the ground. There was an abundance of sunshine, warmth, and smiles! The burgundy bridesmaids’ dresses really popped against the white background. Kaylee had shared with me, prior to the wedding, that she really wanted wedding photos that captured the emotions of the wedding party and guests, all of the laughter, tears of joy, and excitement over the big day. I am happy to say that everyone at the wedding and reception made my job very easy! Everyone was having a great time, and there were SO many people present to share in Kaylee and Jordan’s big day! The two were just thrilled to be surrounded by so many friends and family and to share in the pure bliss of their new marriage.
What I Loved About the Day
Kaylee and I connected quickly and easily last year when we met for her initial consult. This is something I feel is very important when selecting a photographer to work with; you want someone that you feel comfortable around and someone you can rely on to help you ease as much stress as possible while planning your wedding. That’s where I come in! During Kaylee and Jordan’s big day I overheard her several times tell people, “Emily is just who I needed”.
Kaylee and I worked together prior to February 22nd to create a timeline of their wedding that worked best for the couple and that would also allow me plenty of time to capture all of those emotions they wanted me to capture. Even the day of the wedding, when things were running a little behind, I tried to help Kaylee and Jordan as much as I could and to reassure them that everything would still go according to plan. My personality, organization, and the timeline consult we completed ahead of time allowed the day to still run super smoothly.
Once the wedding was over, Kaylee and Jordan chose to purchase a 10 x 10 champagne colored leather album. Even after their big day, they still trusted me so much that they asked me to select the photos for their wedding album! Kaylee saw the gold sample that I have and instantly loved it. She knew the size & color she wanted right away!
The connection between a bride and groom is what makes a wedding day so important. But, another connection that can really help a wedding day run smoothly is selecting a photographer that you can trust and rely on. From the timeline to the photos, rest assured that I will help make the day as stress-free and joyful as I can! Thank you, Kaylee and Jordan, for trusting me to be your photographer!
