A Toast to New Adventures

This Stoney Creek Wedding took place in early February. The day was a tad chilly, but the sun was out and the snowy background was beautiful. Kelly was stunning, and Nick was simply awestruck and in love with his new bride. I remember the sound of laughter as Nick and Kelly popped the champagne with their wedding party (which was super AWESOME). What a great way to kick off the party!

Every decoration that Nick and Kelly put together for their reception at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center was perfect. Nick, a Forester, created the custom wedding favors using real tree branches, and Kelly put designed custom centerpieces for a rustic yet classic look.

Every detail was planned out, and the couple was so relaxed and flexible and just ready to enjoy every minute of their day. They were not going to let anything get in the way of their happiness and the pure excitement they felt because they were finally tying the knot!

What I Loved About the Day

Because Nick and Kelly were so calm, they were really open to allowing us to guide them into poses. By trusting Ben and I to direct them where to stand, where to place their hands, etc. they ended up with very natural looking photos! One of my personal favorites is them looking lovingly into each other’s eyes with the sun softly setting into the trees behind them.

As I swoon over Nick and Kelly’s wedding photos and see how happy they are to just be married to each other, I recall that same look and love that they had for each other during their engagement photo-shoot in Veteran’s Memorial Park. And so here’s another toast to Nick and Kelly and the beautiful love they have for each other. Cheers! Thank you, again, for trusting us to do what we do best so that you two could just enjoy your wedding day.
