Happiness in Veteran’s Park 

I had the utmost pleasure of working with Kelly and Nick during their engagement photo shoot! At around 6 p.m. the conditions were perfect for a joyful and gorgeous evening of photographing the love between these two. Having the happy couple stroll through Veteran’s Park in West Salem just seemed like a natural fit for Nick and Kelly; I can most definitely envision these two 50 years from now visiting this place to reminisce about taking these photos! 

What I Loved About the Day 

I love, love, love, how laid back and trusting Nick and Kelly were. They allowed me to try several different poses to capture the perfect look; a look that really exemplified how happy these two really are to be able to say “I Do” in February at Stoney Creek. Kelly was even so comfortable with my advice that she used the Emily Jean Photography style guide to help assist her with her outfits (which she completely crushed by the way!). 

I am so excited to capture Nick and Kelly’s big day! It will be so fun for these two to compare the elements of their casual, June photo shoot to their vibrant and wintry wedding photos! I can see them now trying to decide which ones to display in their home depending on the season. 🙂

Kelly and Nick chose to display their engagement photos with a custom guest book. It’s an easy go-to option to display the wide range of photos taken in an engagement photo session. Plus, their guests get to enjoy all of their engagement photos as well! Thanks for being so trusting and joyful, Nick and Kelly; here’s to happy wedding planning!
