Love & Laughter
Rebecca and Brian are two of the sweetest people I have ever met! Although they were married in California, they still wanted to plan a fun, laidback evening to celebrate with their family in La Crosse, Wisconsin. What better way for them to celebrate than on a cruise on the La Crosse Queen?! The sky was clear and the air was warm that day. I won’t forget the way the sun was slowly setting over the river the entire time. The laughter that Rebecca and Brian shared with family members was so contagious; I couldn’t help but join in on the fun. I am so thankful that Rebecca and Brian chose me to capture these special moments for them.
What I Loved About the Day
During the photoshoot, Rebecca and Brian were super easy to photograph. Although they would probably say they usually feel awkward while posing, I thought they were naturals! They completely trusted me to pose them to capture the perfect moment in time. The photos that they have of this day represent just how much love they have for each other.
One of the things I also loved about this day was that the couple knew exactly what they wanted. They wanted something that would be easy-going and fun for their family, and that’s exactly what the day felt like. It’s important to create a day that you know you’ll enjoy. Sometimes there can be so many varying opinions about how the day should go, but, ultimately, you have to stay true to your aspirations. After all, it’s your big day!
