I was there when Jordan got down on one knee to propose to my sister in April. He trusted me to photograph one of the most important moments of their entire lives, and I will never forget that! They loved those photos and I was so proud; they are some of my all time favorites. My sister asked me to take their save the date photos as well, and I was so excited!
Sarah picked the most beautiful flowing white summer dresses, one with floral lace and the other a simple cotton with the prettiest neckline. Sarah is a makeup artist and of course her makeup was perfection!! I recommend her to all my clients because she never disappoints. Jordan kept his look simple and classic. I love buttoned up shirts and well fitted pants for engagement photos which is exactly what he picked. The whole look was super put-together and made the couple really pop!
Sarah and Jordan toasted to their newly engaged status with a bottle of champagne in the park. It was the perfect added “accessory” to the look. They even used some of our parent’s champagne glasses, a sweet and special touch. We laughed and chatted as we strolled around a small park. I don’t need a lot to create great photos that showcase the couple. Some bright trees and long grass are all it takes! All your attention goes straight to Sarah and Jordan, exactly where it should be. 🙂
Thank you to the happy couple for such a wonderful session. Sarah, I love you so much. Jordan, you are going to be the perfect addition to our family. I cannot wait for your September wedding at The Charmant Hotel!! I am overjoyed that you’ve asked me to be the maid-of-honor as well as your proposal and engagement photographer. You’re the best!
