Wisconsin Engagement Session At Pettibone Park in La Crosse, WI

THE LOCATION

Aly and Brett’s autumn engagement session at Pettibone park was relaxed and full of joy! The weather was abnormally warm for October in Wisconsin, perfect for outdoor photos. The leaves had fully changed from green to bright yellow and orange. I selected the location for this session based on the couple’s desire for a natural scene. Although the weather was perfect, the park was was pretty quiet. We pretty much had the place to ourselves!

WHO THEY ARE

I really love Aly and Brett. They are soft and sweet to each other, so calming to be around. It’s so obvious that they love spending time together. They snuggled and giggled with each other as we worked through the different poses. They interacted so well with soft touches and little kisses here and there. WHAT THEY WORE

This couple has some serious style.

First, can we talk about Aly’s dress? She selected a long, flowy, dusty blue dress from Baltic Born. The length, shape, and neckline were so flattering. Plus, the long sleeves kept her comfortable and warm! She paired the dress with nude strappy heels. Her shoes gave her a little extra height and improved her posture. Brett matched his tie to Aly’s dress as a way to pull it all together. He chose a timeless black suit. His wardrobe was simple, but totally dapper.

Additionally, Aly understood the importance of professional hair styling so she treated herself! Her hair looked flawless! Professional beauty services brought her look to a new level. She felt confident know that she looked her absolute best.

WHAT THEY GOT

Aly and Brett loved so many of their images! I had a super fun time looking through them all at their reveal session. Together, they chose two large canvases for their living space. They are so easy to hang and display. I am so excited they will have wall art to look at each day. 🙂

Digital files are a fantastic option for engagement photo sessions as well. That’s why this couple purchased a collection of their favorites. They’ll use their files to decorate the wedding, print copies for friends and family, and of course post on social media!
