FAMILY SESSION IN LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN

THE LOCATION

The Swenson’s family session in La Crosse, Wisconsin was super fun and incredibly easy! It was a super nice day in late September. I love working outside in September before it gets too cold or windy. I selected a natural autumn backdrop in Myrick Park for their photoshoot. I knew it would be classic and beautiful. Jessy knew she wanted her photos to look very autumnal. The neutral field and path showcased the family really well.

WHO THEY ARE

I photographed Jessy and Jared’s wedding a few years ago. Since then, it’s been so fun catching up with them for family photos each fall. It’s amazing how big their son Rylan is getting! No offense to Jessy and Jared, but Rylan is definitely the most fun person in the family. He is super goofy and full of personality. Although he is ultra chatty and funny he is still a great listener and does exactly what I tell him. In fact, he still snuggles and hold hands with his parents. What a good boy!

WHAT THEY ORDERED

The family values physical prints and wall art. I helped Jessy select her favorite wall portraits along with some smaller gift sized prints. Finally, she purchased some digital files. Their digital files can be used for Christmas cards, sharing online, printing for their home, and more.

FINAL THOUGHTS

It was so great hanging out with you again this year. It’s so fun being around you guys and all your love! I appreciate that you prioritize capturing family memories. Rylan is getting SO tall. Someday he’ll be taller than you, and you’ll look back at these photos from when he was little. See you again soon!
