STONEY CREEK WEDDING – ONALASKA, WI

Kat and Chris said their vows and married each other on a sunny day at Stoney Creek. The planned their wedding twice because of COVID restrictions. Thanks to all their effort, everything turned out perfectly in the end! Kate and Chris shared an intimate first look, posed for portraits, held their ceremony, and hosted a reception all at The Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

THE COUPLE

Kat is such a wonderful woman to be around. She was giddy with excitement and joyful all day! Chris is so incredibly easy going. He was stoked to be marrying his best friend and celebrating with all his favorite people. I felt so comfortable among them and the whole wedding party!

THE LOOK

The couple absolutely loves being on the beach and out on the water. The color scheme of the wedding included shades of blues and white. The bride and groom selected tropical themed invitations and incorporated starfish and palm trees tastefully throughout the space. Despite being late November, the weather was warm and super comfortable! I photographed a majority of their portraits outside in the sunshine. Make sure to scroll down to see it all.

Kat looked so glamorous in her strapless beaded wedding dress. Her gown fit her wonderfully and flattered her shape so well! The lace and details on the dress took her look to another level. Earrings, a veil, a statement necklace, and a diamond bracelet added lots of extra bling! I love sparkle!

Chris pulled off a unique look; black jacket, pants, shirt, and even tie. He looked super classy. I had never seen another groom select anything like that before.

A FOCUS ON PHOTOGRAPHY

The newlyweds wanted photos that showed off their happiness and love. They chose me because I specialize in flattering joyful portraits! These two listened to every direction and prompt I gave them. I was able to capture a ton of variety in a short time so they had tons of time to party and hang out with their guests!

Kat & Chris, congratulations on your new marriage! I am so excited for you! You have so many adventures ahead of you in life. Remember that it’s always a great idea to leave your struggles behind and head to the beach. 🙂
