WISCONSIN WATERFRONT WEDDING – LA CROSSE, WI
Chrissy and Christian created the most beautiful and super fun wedding day! The planned their wedding in less than one year and were able to bring all their dreams to life! Despite a pandemic and some road blocks, their wedding turned out absolutely perfectly! Close family and friends surrounded them and celebrated the new marriage! The couple shared an intimate first look, posed for portraits, had their ceremony, and hosted a reception all at The Cargill Room.
THE COUPLE
The bride, Chrissy was over-the-moon happy all day! It was easy to tell that she was ecstatic to be surrounded by friends and family and marrying her best friend! Chrissy is an extremely kind, super sweet, and an incredibly easy going woman. She put all her trust in me to guide her through the day’s events. Christian is such a cool guy and one of my favorite grooms of all time. 🙂 He was so emotional and so super sweet and caring to Chrissy and to everyone else! He was so happy that the planning was over and the big day was finally here!
Chrissy, Christian, and their son make the perfect little family. They have all the love in the world for each other!
THE LOOK
The weather was crazy all day. One minute it was raining and the next totally sunny. There was some wind and chill, but no one seemed to mind too much. I took some portraits inside their venue and others outside along the river walk and near the fountain. Chrissy and Christian did a great job toughing it out to get the perfect shots!
The wedding design and decor was impeccable. The wedding palette was blush pinks, navy and white. The decorations incorporated greenery and gold throughout the spaces as well. SO PRETTY! The couple chose to prioritize floral. Bittersweet Flower Market created centerpieces, an arch design, and lots of smaller bouquets throughout the hall. I loved it all and took lots of photos. Make sure to scroll down to see the flowers and decor!
Chrissy looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress. Her gown fit her wonderfully and flattered her amazingly! The lace and details on the dress took her look to another level. Earrings, a veil, and a diamond bracelet added lots of extra dimension. I love an ensemble with accessories!
Christian wore a classic navy suit with a dark satin tie and a white pocket square. His white rose boutonniere added some contrast and depth to his look. He looks good in anything, but looked especially dapper on his wedding day!
A FOCUS ON PHOTOGRAPHY
The newlyweds wanted photos that showed off their happiness and love. They chose me because I specialize in flattering joyful portraits. I am so proud of their wedding photos and also their engagement session. These two listened to every direction and prompt I gave them. I was able to capture a ton of variety in a short time so they had tons of time to party and hang out with their guests!
