NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION IN LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN

Baby Allison’s newborn session took place at my home studio in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The sweet little baby was just four days old! This was technically my second time photographing her, because I shot her mama’s maternity session this winter. 🙂

I couldn’t believe how perfect Allison was. Her sweet face, cute little eyelashes, I loved it all. She’s such a precious gift from God. I made sure to photograph every little detail and feature so that her mom and dad can always look back at when she was little. Newborns change so incredibly fast. There’s nothing quite like the first few days of their lives. I wanted to make sure she was snuggled, loved, and felt super comfortable. I swaddled her tightly and laid her down next to a warm heater. She loved it and slept the whole session!!

I kept the set and outfits very simple for this shoot. I love the natural minimal look to newborn photography. Allison slept soundly on a soft white fur while she was wearing a blush pink blanket. We put her in some cute bows too, just for fun! I love soft tones on everyone, but especially on babies. All the attention went to her beautiful little face where it should be. 🙂

Becca and Alex, thank you so much for bringing Allison to meet me! Congratulations on adding another bundle of joy!! You know I love photographing your family. I’ll see you all at her 6 month session!
