Lake Geneva Wedding at Maxwell Mansion

STYLED WEDDING SHOOT AT MAXWELL MANSION IN LAKE GENEVA, WISCONSIN

I photographed this luxury wedding styled-shoot in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin at The Maxwell Mansion. When I arrived at the mansion, I immediately started to feel excited! A private lawn, tall hedges, and fencing created a private oasis. The large historical building was located near downtown but felt secluded like it was in the middle of nowhere.

The Relics Rentals team had spent months preparing for the photography to begin. Every detail had been extremely well thought out; I was impressed! High-end vendors from all over Wisconsin collaborated to transform Lake Geneva, Wisconsin into a place that felt and looked like Europe. I was “a kid in the candy store” photographing the curated ceremony setup, reception tablescape, cocktail hour lounge, dessert vignette, and flatlay details. Everywhere I looked I saw more and more beauty and detail. This was a large-scale project and a challenge, but I had a blast the entire time. The textures, colors, and overall quality of decor blew my mind. I was able to exercise my creativity!

My favorite detail of any wedding is always the floral. At this particular shoot, floral design was everywhere in and around the mansion. The textures, colors, and size of the floral brought this wedding look to a completely new level! I want all my wedding clients to invest in what is most important to them. My fingers are always crossed that they prioritize floral.

In addition to photographing all the floral, styled wedding pieces, food, and furniture I also had the opportunity to photograph two beautiful models! Strike Bridal Bar along with Melody Sopa Artistry created an unforgettable and unbelievably luxurious look for the couple. We walked the grounds of the mansion and I photographed the joyful bride and groom in poses that flattered them and showed true emotion! Every backdrop was rich and green, exactly what I love! I created colorful, vibrant, true-to-life imagery!

The styled shoot at The Maxwell Mansion was a highlight of my career so far! I cannot WAIT for a future Maxwell Mansion couple to inquire with me. Likewise, every vendor involved shone brightly! I hope to work with everyone again. 🙂
