Stacy and William’s Riverside Park engagement session took place just about one year from their wedding date. Like many of my brides, Stacy is a planner and has been dreaming about everything wedding related for several years. She’s met me at a few different wedding shows and has been following my social media for quite some time! See, Stacy and William have been together since high school! They’ve been through thick and thin and are so totally ready to be husband and wife.
Stacy let me know in her pre-session questionnaire that nature is super important to them. They even got engaged on a nature hike. I made sure to pick spots in the park that felt “untouched” and completely natural. The bright greens with the soft setting sunlight made a gorgeous backdrop for them.
The engagement session was on a super warm summer night. Stacy worked hard to find clothes that flattered them nicely, but wouldn’t keep them too hot! I loved the cute flowy floral dress she wore and the fitted navy button-up shirt for William that complemented it. She read the Emily Jean Photography Style Guide and took my advice when it came to their outfits. I’m so glad she did, because they looked great!!
I am sure the next year is going to fly by! Their wedding is right around the corner. After almost a decade together, they deserve the most perfect wedding day! Their engagement photo session went wonderfully, and I know we will get so many fantastic portraits on that day as well. 🙂
