Rachel & Brad – Cargill Room Wedding

Rachel & Brad were married in West Salem, Wisconsin at Christ Lutheran Church. They celebrated with a beautiful reception at The Cargill Room in La Crosse. If you are an avid follower, you might remember their summer Riverside Park engagement session.

After dating long distance and planning a wedding from hundreds of miles away, the couple was elated to finally be together..forever! Rachel had been living in Texas and Brad in Michigan. Throw in a pandemic and you’ve got quite a crazy situation! Honestly, I can’t think of a better couple to handle all that stress. Rachel is the most smiley, bubbly, and positive woman you will ever meet. Brad is so chill, down to earth, and go-with-the flow. They took all the challenges and learned to just laugh at the rollercoaster they were on. With help from my timeline consult, a positive outlook, and experience with her siblings’ weddings, Rachel knew she wanted a relaxing and fun day. That’s exactly what she got!

There were so many unique and special things about this wedding, but the coolest might be that Rachel’s dad is the one that married them! That’s right, he walked her down the aisle, and then conducted the service! So cool, right? Rachel and Brad’s families are really important to them and they were with us the whole day cheering the couple on and shedding lots of happy tears. Their siblings were in the wedding party, Rachel’s brother in law played piano, and the parents stepped up and helped with lots of planning and logistics. Because this was a smaller more intimate wedding, the guests were really close family and friends too! It was warm, inviting and super comfortable for all the guests!

So many other details stood out to me, I could go on and on. There was a horse and carriage for guests to ride, gorgeous views of the Mississippi River, the best cupcakes I’ve ever had, and centerpieces the guests were able to take home! Every aspect of the day was thought through. I think she might have a career in wedding planning. 😉

All these special details and memories are going to be put together in a custom album for the newlyweds. Rachel & Brad selected a grey vegan leather finish for their 10×10 book. It’s going to go right next to their guest book full of engagement photos! I can’t wait to see it all printed and proudly on display.

Rachel and Brad, you know I love you guys so much. Thank you for having us at your extra special wedding! I am so happy that you never have to be apart ever again. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Keep those smiles and awesome attitudes, you bring so much happiness to everyone.
