NATURE MATERNITY SESSION IN LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN

THE LOCATION

Alyssa & Timmy’s dusk maternity session in La Crosse, Wisconsin was so peaceful and beautiful. I selected this particular location because I knew it would be private and relaxing. It can be super stressful bringing a new little human into the world. Your maternity session should be fun and a total reward for all the hard work it is becoming a new mom! I selected a meadow with tall grasses and a footpath nearby. The sun was low in the sky and gave us some beautiful glowy light. All of these photographs were taken within just a small area so that Alyssa didn’t have to do a lot of walking or hiking. I like to keep maternity sessions super simple.

WHO THEY ARE

I am so happy when I get to see previous clients again, especially Alyssa. She is an absolute charm to be around. She’s caring, softhearted, and will be the perfect mom. Timmy is funny, easy-going, and so excited for this baby to come into the world so that he can have another Ducks fan to watch games with! There was so much sweetness between the two of them during this session. I know their love for the new baby is even stronger!

WHAT THEY WORE

Alyssa wanted a long dress that was comfortable, yet showed off her gorgeous baby bump. This blue jersey knit dress was exactly that! Her high heeled wedges and colorful lip tied in and the outfit was perfect! Timmy likes to keep his wardrobe pretty simple. For this shoot he wanted all the attention to be on the baby bump. He wore a white button up shirt with grey slacks and square-toed shoes. It was a basic and classic look that worked great!

FINAL THOUGHTS

Alyssa and Timmy, it was so wonderful spending an evening with you. I hope that your session brought you relaxation joy and excitement for baby to come! It was such a privilege to photograph you during this special season of life. I cannot wait to see your new bundle of joy!
