BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY FOR A MAKEUP ARTIST

Some of you probably have no idea that I have a sister! Sarah is a Wisconsin makeup artist and beauty blogger. She and I work together all the time for my boudoir and wedding clients! She knows just how to get the look perfect for the camera. My brides always love the final result! She has been my go-to girl for years. Sarah just launched a brand new website and has been strategizing her social media posts. Great posts start with eye-catching photos! She hired me for lifestyle headshots that would feel authentic and show her viewers who she is.

I set the scenes in spots where you can find her day to day; her studio, her kitchen, and even on her comfy couch. (I think all entrepreneurs work with the TV on sometimes!) Sarah selected outfits that coordinated with her brand color palette. Her typical of her everyday wardrobe is t-shirts, blouses, and ripped jeans. As I mentioned before, she wanted these photos to look true to life and really show her reader who she is and what you can expect if you meet her!

The focus was to be mostly on her face and the warmth of her smile. However, I encouraged her to incorporate some accessories so that at a glance, you can see what she does. She chose makeup brushes, some favorite coffee cups, her favorite products, and even a local wedding magazine. Sarah was featured and I told her we needed to show it off!!

I am SO proud of my sister and the photos I created of her. She is such a happy, bubbly, and bright woman. It was a total honor to bring her brand to life so that she can continue to connect with all of you!
