NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION IN LA CROSSE, WISCONSIN

Baby Charlie’s newborn session took place at my home studio in Onalaska, Wisconsin. I met Charlie’s mama when she was the maid of honor at Stacy & Brian’s wedding. I was so excited to see her again and watch her interact with her new son.

I was pleasantly surprised how sleepy and cuddly Charlie was. I held him and swaddled him with no fuss at all! This adorable little bundle of joy was just a few weeks old. He was born premature and was so super tiny. I photographed his little face, long eyelashes, and beautiful hands. He is growing and changing so fast, I wanted to make sure his parents had photos that documented Charlie as an infant.

I kept the backdrop and swaddle blankets very simple. I love the minimal look for newborns. Baby Charlie slept soundly on soft fabrics wrapped in grey and blue blankets. I especially adore soft tones on babies. All the attention went to his beautiful little face. 🙂
